JACKSONVILLE, Flor. (May 16, 2024) – North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital celebrated its grand opening today with a community open house and ribbon cutting ceremony. The new 50-bed facility is operated by Lifepoint Rehabilitation, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, and is the region’s first free-standing inpatient rehabilitation facility west of the St. Johns River.

“Today we open the doors to western Jacksonville’s first freestanding inpatient rehabilitation hospital,” said Scott Rotsted, CEO of North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital. “We are proud to meet this region’s growing need for specialized rehabilitative care as we help patients regain their functional independence and return to their homes, families and communities as soon as possible.
