New Behavioral Health Hospital Serving Patients in McKinney, Texas

Collin Springs Behavioral Health Hospital (Collin Springs) celebrated its grand opening this week with a community open house and ribbon cutting. The new 56,000-square-foot facility has 72 beds for behavioral healthcare for children and adolescents (ages 5-17), adults and geriatric patients. Located centrally in McKinney, the hospital is operated by Lifepoint Behavioral Health, a business unit of Lifepoint Health, and joins several inpatient and outpatient facilities operated by Lifepoint Behavioral Health in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Collin Springs provides inpatient and outpatient treatment, including a partial hospitalization program and an intensive outpatient program, treating a broad range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, psychosis, personality disorders, and mental health concerns accompanied by substance abuse. The new hospital expands behavioral health capacity in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex by nearly 30 percent.
