Company launches new brand and unveils symbolic logo adopted from Lifepoint Health

Louisville, KY. (January 10, 2023) – Lacuna Health, a leading provider of healthcare-focused call center and telehealth solutions, today announced a new name and brand identity as Access Point. Anchored by a vibrant heart icon adopted from its parent company, the organization’s new brand visually aligns Access Point with Lifepoint Health, a leading diversified healthcare delivery network. Access Point continues to operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company and serves a wide variety of clients both within the Lifepoint system and beyond.

“Rebranding our company as Access Point is an important milestone that signifies our expanded scope and the evolution of the services we provide,” said John Apholt, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Access Point. “Our new name is a more accurate reflection of the critical work we do to connect patients with the care they need, and we look forward to continuing to grow as we further enhance our offerings for those we serve.”

Reflective of Lifepoint’s brand, Access Point’s new heart icon is rich with symbolism. It reflects a caring and inclusive culture, and dedication to making communities healthier. At the center of the heart is one dot that is larger than the rest, representing a deep commitment to patient-centered care. And the icon’s vibrant spectrum of colors conveys movement, representing a focus on innovating and shaping the future of healthcare delivery.

Access Point provides a range of services for clients across the healthcare industry, including:

  • Medical answering services
  • Centralized scheduling
  • Nurse triage
  • Virtual care and support
  • Transitional care management
  • Patient engagement to include both outbound and inbound services
