Brentwood, Tenn. (August 22, 2024) – Lifepoint Health®, a diversified healthcare delivery network dedicated to making communities healthier®, today announced that Elle Box has been appointed to the role of chief compliance officer for the organization, effective immediately. In this role, Box oversees the organization’s robust compliance program, leading collaboration across multiple functions and teams, driving the development and implementation of risk mitigation standardization for processes and reporting, and working to improve healthcare delivery in alignment with best practices.

Box will focus on enhancing Lifepoint’s programs in several areas, including revenue cycle integrity, enhanced oversight of new and emerging service lines and technologies, layered assurance programs around critical risks, and efforts that continue to foster the company’s “See Something, Say Something” culture.

Box comes to Lifepoint from UConn Health in Connecticut, where she served as chief healthcare compliance and privacy officer. Prior to this, she was the chief compliance officer at TMC Health in Arizona, as well as director of compliance for Merit Laboratory Partners in Tennessee.
Box earned a master’s degree in pharmacology and toxicology from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
