Bob Barrett Assumes New Role as Senior Vice President, Growth and Transformation; Bill Ziesmer Joins Company as Chief Financial Officer for Western Division
Brentwood, Tenn. (February 5, 2024) - Lifepoint Health®, a diversified healthcare delivery network dedicated to making communities healthier, today announced the appointment of two leaders to key roles for the organization.
Long-time Lifepoint leader Bob Barrett is stepping into the newly created role of senior vice president, growth and transformation, effective immediately. In this role, Barrett will oversee several important functions for the company, including service line operations, growth and outreach, marketing, data and analytics and enterprise transformation. Barrett previously served as chief financial officer (CFO) for the Western Division and has been with Lifepoint for more than 20 years, serving in various financial and operational leadership roles across several markets.
Healthcare finance veteran Bill Ziesmer will replace Barrett as CFO of the Western Division. In this role, he will oversee the financial operations of 18 hospital campuses in Arizona, Arkansas, Iowa, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. Ziesmer has nearly 30 years of healthcare financial management and leadership experience, most recently serving as CFO for Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, a large HCA Healthcare hospital in Las Vegas. Prior to that, Ziesmer served in numerous financial leadership and division-level roles for both HCA and Health Management Associates.
