Jackson Purchase Medical Center has opened Mayfield, Kentucky's first milk depot. Working with The Milk Bank – which has other milk depots in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri – Jackson Purchase's milk depot will serve as a donation site where eligible women can donate breast milk for babies in the community who are in need, including premature babies at risk for infections.
