(June 2, 2022) – 25m Health, a joint venture with LifePoint Health, venture studio 25madison and Apollo Global Management (NYSE: APO), has appointed healthcare industry veteran Marcus Osborne to its council of senior advisors and named three experienced leaders to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Brentwood, Tennessee-based healthtech incubator. Chris Poole will lead the team as head of studio, while Haley Eberly McDonald and Ryan Macy have been appointed head of product and head of engineering, respectively. These leaders will work together – and in close partnership with leaders from LifePoint Health and 25madison – to help support and facilitate the growth of promising healthcare businesses that bring solutions to key challenges across LifePoint Health’s diversified healthcare delivery network and more broadly within the healthcare industry.

As a senior advisor for 25m Health, Osborne will help guide the strategic direction of the business incubator alongside a dedicated council of other advisors from across the industry. Osborne brings a wealth of experience to his advisory role, having served in a number of executive leadership positions with Walmart Health & Wellness. He most recently led Walmart’s division for all health services and care delivery, and previously led health payer relations and health transformation/innovation for the company, respectively.
In his role as head of studio, Poole will define and chart the strategic direction for 25m Health, with a sharp focus on growth and on working with LifePoint leaders to identify key business opportunities to help support the company’s facilities across the country, as well as the broader healthcare delivery system. Poole will oversee the development and launch of new startups and early stage businesses. Poole brings more than 15 years of experience in operating and investing in early-stage companies to 25m Health. He joins from ThriveAP, an early-stage education and training company where he served as CEO.
Working closely with Poole as head of product, McDonald is responsible for building and shaping the product vision and strategy for the organization. She will focus on conducting user experience studies to identify top pain points and lead development of new products to address these specific needs for LifePoint Health and beyond. McDonald comes to 25m Health from BehaVR, a leading innovator in virtual reality digital wellness and digital therapeutics experiences, where she most recently served as senior director and head of product.
Rounding out the 25m Health leadership team as head of engineering, Macy will lead the architecture, design and development of incubations in his role. He will be responsible for setting, managing and driving technology budgets and timelines, and will champion quality coding practices across the studio and its portfolio companies. Macy joins the team from Reify Health where he served as director of engineering.
