LifePoint Health was recently named the 2018 Corporate Philanthropist of the Year by the Nashville Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) at its annual awards luncheon. The company was recognized for its outstanding support of local nonprofit organizations that are Making Communities Healthier across Middle Tennessee, including its partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank.
John Bumpus, executive vice president, administration, and the executive sponsor of LifePoint’s Social Responsibility Committee, delivered the keynote address at the luncheon and accepted the award on LifePoint’s behalf. Other award recipients included Hannah Grubbs, Rising Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year; Debbie Craig, Philanthropist of the Year; and Pete Nebhut, Volunteer Fundraiser of the Year.
